I majored in folklore in an art university .
I practiced river kayak for ten years in extreme conditions.
Through this experience
I come to realized the lows of nature ( humans and nature are one )
My first employment was editorial designer in new science publishing house.
It was during this first job that I learned about “Gaia” and “global brain” .
I made many record jackets and book covers.
Later , I worked as a director in major advertising agency.
I did product branding and creative cocept for TVcommercial.
After gaining a lot of experience in the creative industry,
I decided to focus on my own artistic practice as a photographer.
In the beginning I was doing documentary photography of native cultures.
I became interested in island cultures,
because they have preserved the wisdom of their ancestors.
In 2005 I started a new project, called “Naturalism Art”,
which was inspired by my encounters with native spirits.
I feel that there exist many nature spirits.
There is a spirit in every object,and in all things in nature.
for example there are nature spirits
in the trees,
grass,
stones,
clouds,
breeze…etc.
Our ancestors call this concept “森羅万象 shinra bansho
“ Everything on the earth is connected like threads in a fabric.
The ancient Japanese people were polytheists.
They believed in “shinra bansho “. Traditionally,
Japanese artists have employed this concept to make “haiku” “tanka” ”ukiyoe”.

I can feel the existence of nature spirits,too.
I would like as well to employ “shinra bansho “ in my work.
The wisdom of “shinra bansho “has brought harmony between nature and human.
I believe that shooting is “reflecting”.
When I take photograghs I capture the spirit of nature.
Through my work I would like to restre
the vibration between nature spirits and human soul.
I define “Naturalism Art” grounded with Mother Earth Respecting nature spirits .
